  • A chi è rivolto: Application is open exclusively to: senior candidates with at least 15 years of past experience in industrial environment on System-on-a-Chip (SoC) design, including at least 5 years at Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Scientist, and/or Chief Architect level, with experience in organization of international conferences on solid-state circuits and chiplets design, and holding Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. Activities of the visiting fellows, that will be carried out within the Department facilities, will consist in the collaboration with professors and researchers of the DEI: and particularly with the research groups of Professors Marco Tartagni, Aldo Romani and Luca Benini, on the topic of integrated circuit and system-on-chip design. The main goal of the fellowship is to collaborate and gain insight at both the educational (MS and Ph.D. programs) and the research levels, on approaches, methods and practices in integrated circuit design in leading fabless companies, with focus on the chiplets approach.
  • Profilo ricercato: In more details, collaboration shall be focused on one or more of the following activities: • joint research activity on the architectural level, mixed-signal integrated circuits design; • joint research activity on heterogeneous System-on-a-Chip or System-on-a-Package, and in particular with the chiplets approach; • joint organisation of research seminars/workshops; • drafting of jointly-authored publications; • joint participation in calls for proposal at European and international level; • seminars/classes on the visiting fellow research activities to be mainly addressed to PhD students and research staff; The period of stay shall not be required to be continuous. Splitting the period of stay in two or more sessions is possible, but the minimum duration of at least one stay must be 5 days.
